Picturesque and peaceful, Killcare and Hardys Bay offer an idyllic coastal lifestyle. Residents have beaches and bushland at their disposal and they take maximum advantage of both. Putty Beach is a firm favourite, and the Bouddi Coastal Walk, which stretches all the way to Macmasters Beach, is a local go-to. Bouddi National Park is a natural delight, with walking trails, mountain biking tracks, fishing spots and beautiful beaches that are a world away from the daily grind.
Killcare Village caters to basic shopping and service needs and featuresan art gallery, general store, hair salon, and boutique shops. It is a factor in the low-key, community feel the suburb is known for, and bigger shopping malls are just a short drive away. When it comes todining, Killcare and Hardys Bay is a hidden hotspot. There are fine dining restaurants inside Bells at Killcare, as well as relaxed beachside eateries such as The Fat Goose and Hardys Bay Bistro.

You can also enjoy a five-star experience at the famed Bells at Killcare, one of the coast’s premier boutique hotels. Wander along sandstone cliffs and coastal heaths while taking in the outstanding beauty of the Bouddi Coastal Walk. Those looking to relax with the sand between their toes can unwind at popular Putty Beach or Little Beach.
Other things to note:
NO MORE THAN 6 GUESTS (6 person (max 4 adults/2 children) are permitted to stay at The Blue House unless agreed to in advance by the owners. Guests MUST NOT byo any additional mattresses or bedding. All guests must be declared at the time of bookings and any extra guests will be asked to leave the property and/or will forfeit their deposit bond.
No parties or events: As we are situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, we ask that you please be respectful of our neighbours and ensure that there is no outdoor noise after 10pm, we request no music or outdoor entertaining after this time. Sound travels easily to our immediate neighbours and as such, please be aware of noise levels at all times of the day. Should there be ongoing noise disruption and our security company is called to the property and they deem the noise levels from the street disruptive to the neighbourhood, this will result in a bond deduction of $120.
LINEN, TOWELS AND CLEANING services provided at guest’s expense.
Pets – No pets allowed
SECURITY BOND (Refundable Deposit) of $800.00 is required for each stay and is in addition to the booking charge. The guest is liable for the full cost of any breakages, missing items or damage caused to or within the property during their stay, even if it exceeds the bond amount.
**Please note that there is STRICTLY NO SMOKING in this house. Smoking on the property both indoors and within the grounds is strictly prohibited. Any residual odours or evidence of smoking will incur an additional cleaning fee of $500. Please restrict smoking to a distance from the property and dispose of any cigarette buts appropriately away from the property.
As this home is being offered as a short-term rental, we kindly ask our guests to familiarise themselves with the short-term rental code of conduct, in particular part 2.5 which refers to the rights and obligations of the guest. This will help ensure your stay is enjoyed without interruption.
