The Killcare Cottage is a newly renovated enchanting holiday cottage across the road from the water at Hardys Bay, a beautiful coastal village near Killcare beach. Just a short stroll from multiple cafes and restaurants and packed full of character and contemporary comforts, this is the perfect place to spend some quality time with family and friends.
Sliding doors across the front living room of the cottage invite the bay views inside or you can enjoy the lovely renovated kitchen which opens out to another living area which leads out onto a private outdoor entertaining area at the rear.
Killcare Village caters to basic shopping and service needs and features an art gallery, general store, hair salon, and boutique shops.
There are plenty of nearby bush walking trails in the stunning Bouddi National Park for all ranges of ability, just over the hill there is the patrolled Killcare Beach with the Killcare Surf Club providing food and coffee, plus Pretty Beach and the Wagstaffe Ferry Wharf is just moments away too if you would like to go exploring.
This home is filled with gorgeous high end details, whilst retaining its original cottage feel, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy this peaceful setting for a few days, a week or more.

Take a bushwalk along the Bouddi Coastal Walk, which stretches all the way to Macmasters Beach.
Swim at the patrolled Killcare Beach and grab some lunch at the surf club cafe
The Bouddi National Park is a natural delight, with walking trails, mountain biking tracks, fishing spots and beautiful beaches that are a world away from the daily grind.

Other things to note:
No More Than 6 Guests (6 person are permitted to stay at The Killcare Cottage unless agreed to in advance by the owners. Guests Must Not byo any additional mattresses or bedding. All guests must be declared at the time of bookings and any extra guests will be asked to leave the property and/or will forfeit their deposit bond.
No Parties or Events: As we are situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood, we ask that you please be respectful of our neighbours and ensure that there is no outdoor noise after 10 pm, we request no music or outdoor entertaining after this time. Sound travels easily to our immediate neighbours and as such, please be aware of noise levels at all times of the day. Should there be ongoing noise disruption, our security company will be called to the property. If they deem the noise levels from the street disruptive to excessive it will result in a security call out fee of $500 and possible eviction.
Linen, Towels and Cleaning are included in the cleaning fee.
Parking – carport parking for 1 car and drive way/street parking
Pets – No pets allowed
Security Bond (Refundable Deposit) of $1000.00 is required for each stay and is in addition to the booking charge. The guest is liable for the full cost of any breakages, missing items or damage caused to or within the property during their stay, even if it exceeds the bond amount.
Smoking on the property both indoors and within the grounds is strictly prohibited. Any residual odours or evidence of smoking will incur an additional cleaning fee of $500. Please restrict smoking to a distance from the property and dispose of any cigarette buts appropriately away from the property.
As this home is being offered as a short-term rental, we kindly ask our guests to familiarise themselves with the short-term rental code of conduct, in particular part 2.5 which refers to the rights and obligations of the guest. This will help ensure your stay is enjoyed without interruption.
